Rijeka Dissemination Event – 11th May 2018

As part of the ENRETE project, a national dissemination conference was held in Rijeka, Croatia on 11th May 2018 as a part of 6th international symposium Health for all! organized by Medical faculty of University of Rijeka. The key topic for the symposium was “PROMOTING RESILIENCE IN EDUCATION IN EUROPE”.

The conference was supported by the President of the Republic of Croatia miss, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović; Ministry of Education and science of Republic of Croatia; Primorsko goranska County; City of Rijeka; Teaching institute for public health of Primorsko-goranska county and Community health care centre for Primorsko goranska county.

The 60 participants of the symposium discussed the issue of European societies facing growing social, economic and cultural diversity, where more than an third of Europeans experience mental health difficulties. Mental health promotion and prevention was recognised as TOP PUBLIC HEALTH PRIORITY and INVESTMENTS IN EDUCATION AND RESILIENCE BUILDING STRATEGIES were recognised as the best investment for healthy and inclusive European societies.

The ENRETE results including, the curriculum for European master in resilience, the face to face and online modules were presented with the help of project partners from Malta, Greece, Romania, Portugal and Italy.
